About the RoleWe are currently seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. As a Physiotherapist with this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with delegated service users who require physiotherapy support in various settings, including inpatient and community environments.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert physiotherapy services to individuals with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities. This may involve developing therapeutic programmes of care tailored to each individual's needs, promoting independence and well-being, and engaging service users and their carers in compassionate and supportive manner.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement physiotherapy programmes for service users with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place
- Provide education and training to service users, carers, and healthcare professionals on physiotherapy best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- HCP registration and relevant qualifications in physiotherapy
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in physiotherapy
