Community Pediatric Consultant

Position Overview
The Community Pediatric Consultant will be an integral part of a specialized team dedicated to delivering exceptional pediatric services to children in the community. This role primarily focuses on providing comprehensive assessments and interventions for children with developmental challenges, emotional and behavioral issues, and other health-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children with developmental difficulties and disabilities, including potential autism spectrum disorders.
- Leading multidisciplinary assessment teams to ensure holistic care for children.
- Addressing emotional and behavioral challenges in young patients.
- Evaluating children with significant sensory impairments to identify broader developmental needs.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns that may arise during consultations.
Health Assessments
The consultant will also be responsible for conducting health evaluations for:
- Children in care, focusing on emotional and behavioral assessments.
- Children undergoing adoption processes.
- Children being assessed for Education, Health, and Care Plans.
