We are seeking a dedicated and clinically proficient audiologist or clinical scientist with outstanding leadership capabilities, particularly in the realm of pediatric audiology services within an acute care environment.
Our specialized pediatric team is eager to welcome a lead clinician who will guide and enhance our service delivery.
The role will involve overseeing the strategic development of the pediatric audiology service in an acute care setting, collaborating closely with community pediatric teams.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and conducting pediatric hearing assessments, providing hearing aids, performing diagnostic evaluations for infants, and shaping the policy and strategic direction of pediatric services within the department. The role requires exemplary leadership skills and organizational abilities. In addition to clinical responsibilities, service development will be a fundamental aspect of this position. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and validating standard operating procedures grounded in contemporary evidence-based practices. They will demonstrate clinical leadership by innovating clinical procedures concerning outcome measures and quality assurance practices in line with current best practices and national protocols. Experience with Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) for the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP) and familiarity with national and regional guidelines is essential. Continuous professional development is crucial, and reflective practice is actively encouraged.
