We are seeking a dedicated and clinically proficient audiologist or clinical scientist with outstanding leadership capabilities, particularly in the realm of pediatric audiology services within an acute care environment.

Our specialized pediatric team is eager to welcome a lead clinician who will guide and enhance our service delivery.

This role involves the strategic oversight and advancement of pediatric audiology services in an acute care setting, collaborating closely with community pediatric teams.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting and supervising pediatric hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and diagnostic evaluations for infants.
  • Shaping policies and strategic initiatives for pediatric services within the department.
  • Exhibiting exemplary leadership and organizational skills.
  • Engaging in service development as a fundamental aspect of the role.
  • Creating and validating standard operating procedures grounded in contemporary evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrating clinical leadership by innovating clinical procedures focused on outcome measures and quality assurance, adhering to best practices and national standards.
  • Possessing experience with Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) assessments for the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP) and understanding relevant national and regional guidelines.
  • Participating in continuous professional development and fostering reflective practice.
