About the Role

The Disability Case Manager position involves conducting client assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. As a Disability Case Manager, you will be responsible for gathering information through telephone, video or face-to-face assessments and producing a factual report to aid the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining eligibility for benefits.

Requirements

To be successful as a Disability Case Manager, you must have:

  • NMC registration as a nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC qualification as a physiotherapist, paramedic, or occupational therapist
  • At least one year of post-registration experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse conditions, including mental health
  • Competent IT and computer skills
