About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Frodsham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in facilities management or electrical contracting to work with new and existing clients, driving business growth and expansion.
Job Overview:
Working closely with one of our Directors, you will play a key role in executing the sales strategy and enhancing our brand presence. You will be responsible for building and managing a strong sales pipeline of potential clients, qualifying and following up on leads, identifying decision-makers, and negotiating contracts to maximise profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
- Lead Qualification and Follow-up: Identify and engage with potential clients, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion into sales opportunities.
- Decision-maker Engagement: Establish relationships with key decision-makers through regular communication, including calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate contracts that meet both business objectives and customer needs.
- Industry Research and Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights to inform sales strategies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with marketing teams to implement sales and marketing initiatives, and lead client sales meetings to present marketing materials.
- Performance Metrics and Targets: Consistently exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and activity metrics, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Background and Experience: Proven track record in facilities management or electrical contracting, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in business development or sales.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport quickly, and excellent organisational skills. Self-motivated, commercially-minded, and keen attention to detail.
- Personal Qualities: Valid driving license, professional conduct, outstanding communication and influencing abilities, effective time management, and people-oriented approach.
Compensation and Benefits:
