Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Child Support Specialist to join our team. As a keyworker, you will work with children, young people, their parents/carers and families to navigate the complex health and social care system, ensuring their needs are met before reaching crisis point.
You will build trusting relationships with families, providing wraparound support and care for children with complex learning disabilities, autism or both. You will work alongside cross-sector professionals, including health, education, and social care, to provide a holistic approach to supporting vulnerable children and young people.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, education)
- Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Knowledge of legislation related to children and young people's services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
