Child Bereavement UK OWLS is seeking a highly skilled Bereavement Support Specialist to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our outreach team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bereavement support to individuals, couples, families, and groups across the region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Child Bereavement UK OWLS, a leading charity providing bereavement support to families and professionals across the UK. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to support our Bereavement Support Service Lead in the provision and evaluation of our developing service.

You will work closely with the Bereavement Support Service Lead to provide individual and couple sessions, as well as facilitated groups for parents and families. Your role will also involve contributing to the provision of a programme of individual and family support sessions, groups for young people, and school liaison.

  • Provide high-quality bereavement support to individuals, couples, families, and groups across the region.
  • Work closely with the Bereavement Support Service Lead to develop and evaluate our service.
  • Manage a caseload and provide a programme of individual and couple sessions.
  • Contribute to the provision of a programme of individual and family support sessions, groups for young people, and school liaison.
