About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Ministry of Defence – Royal Navy as a Delivery Sponsor for Navy Command Infrastructure. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering critical infrastructure projects that support the Royal Navy's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver infrastructure programmes and projects that align with the Royal Navy's operational requirements.
  • Lead the Joint Project Team (JPT) and promote a strong safety and security culture.
  • Monitor project delivery against Performance, Time, and Cost (PCT) metrics.
  • Contribute to project risk management and support project governance.
  • Line manage an HEO Delivery Sponsor.
Requirements
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to bring stakeholder groups together.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and SharePoint/Teams.
  • Nuclear Competency 1.2 - Nuclear Safety/Nuclear Security Management Arrangements.
  • P3M19: Stakeholder and Communication Management.
