Role:

As a System Test Engineer, you will work closely with our development teams, design architects, product owners, and project managers to ensure the quality of our integrated systems. You will be responsible for performing system, end-to-end, and user-acceptance testing, as well as exploratory, automated, and component-level testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Static testing of project documents and requirements
  • Writing test scenarios and preparing test cases
  • Deploying systems for test execution
  • Executing test cases
  • Ensuring adherence to Flowbird's testing standards
  • Preparing test plans, test status reports, and test outcome reports
  • Providing feedback to development and project teams
  • Scheduling test activities
  • Maintaining test equipment and environments
  • Contributing to a service-minded and customer-centric approach

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, tools, and practices
  • ISTQB Foundation certification (or equivalent)
  • Additional qualifications in computing, engineering, science, or testing fields are beneficial

Core Skills:

  • MS Windows, MS Office
  • SQL experience
  • PC Literate - Very good knowledge of PCs, Windows, and PC Networks
  • Working knowledge of networking and associated protocols
  • Knowledge of software development and test processes and best practices
  • Analytical problem-solving and passion for quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a demand-led environment
