We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Poole. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured by our suppliers meet and exceed our stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular on-site supplier visits to monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to the business
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address supplier non-conformities
  • Review supplier data and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement process improvements and value enhancements
  • Support and lead continuous improvement activities at the supplier to reduce waste and decrease cycle times
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and product audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and manufacturing processes

Requirements

  • Relevant manufacturing or engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Experience in quality and supplier quality assurance
  • Good understanding and interpretation of mechanical engineering drawings and GRP construction drawings
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
