Job Summary

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Poole. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured by our suppliers meet and exceed our quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular on-site supplier visits to monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to the business.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address supplier non-conformities.
  • Review supplier data and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with suppliers to implement changes.
  • Support and lead continuous improvement activities at the supplier to reduce waste and decrease cycle times.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and product audits to ensure internal compliance with quality systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in new product launches to ensure that supplier parts meet specification, drawing, and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant manufacturing or engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in quality and supplier quality assurance.
  • Good understanding and interpretation of mechanical engineering drawings and GRP construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
