HPC Environment Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Your primary goal will be to ensure these environments operate efficiently, reliably, and securely.
About the Role:
- You will configure and optimize Linux-based HPC environments to meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Implement robust security measures to protect HPC systems and data from threats.
- Monitor system performance and resource utilization to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Support the improvement of business delivery through various projects, bids, investments, and lifecycle planning initiatives.
- Deploy and maintain high-performance computing capabilities to support engineering delivery and enhance overall productivity.
- Collaborate closely with software and IT teams to further improve computing capabilities.
- Foster the growth and development of junior team members through mentorship and training.
Your Background:
- Experience with virtual desktop environments, high-performance computing environments, and Linux operating and administration systems is essential.
- You should have extensive experience with configuring and optimizing queue systems, as well as assisting users in developing effective job scripts.
- A proven track record in using Low Latency or RDMA network technologies and Linux scripting languages in HPC environments is required.
- A strong understanding of common HPC programming languages is necessary to assist in debugging code issues.
