Dedicated Care Manager

As a key member of our team at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for leading and developing our care teams in a fast-paced nursing home environment. Your primary goal will be to implement action plans that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, ensuring their health and well-being are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will play a pivotal role in implementing action plans to meet resident needs, showcasing your ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- In the absence of the General Manager, you will take on leadership duties, leveraging your skills to ensure seamless operations and maintain high standards of care.
- Your leadership style will set the tone for the team, with a focus on regular audits and clinical practice to monitor and improve standards.
- You will develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
About You:
- We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration, who is passionate about delivering quality care and making a positive impact on residents' lives.
- A teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification would be beneficial in this role, as you will be responsible for guiding and supporting colleagues to reach their full potential.
- Prior experience in a nursing home setting is essential, with a proven track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
- You should have experience in helping residents with different health needs, demonstrating your adaptability and ability to work effectively in a variety of situations.
- A successful history of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments will also be highly valued.
- Additionally, HR experience, sales and marketing knowledge, and budget management skills will be useful assets in this position.
