Job Overview

Tecalemit Workshop Equipment, a leading supplier in the garage workshop equipment market, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role is part-time, approximately 27.5 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  2. Maintain payroll records, including employee data, time sheets, and deductions.
  3. Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate employee information is reflected in the payroll system.
  4. Utilize payroll software, particularly Sage pay, for efficient payroll processing.
  5. Prepare reports for HR Manager or finance team and/or management analysis as required.
  6. Assist with the implementation of HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy.
  7. Administer pension, life assurance, and employee assistance programmes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in relevant software, particularly Sage pay.
  • Experience with accounts payable processes that relate to payroll functions.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices as they relate to payroll administration.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and an absolute commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • The ability to be adaptable and help with any ad hoc tasks as required.
