**Job Description:** SEN Teacher

**Location:** Chesterfield, England

**Estimated Salary:** £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at a well-resourced primary school in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEND and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Foster the academic, social, and emotional development of children with diverse needs.
  2. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals.
  3. Develop and maintain effective behaviour management strategies to support children with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties.
  4. Provide regular updates to parents and carers on their child's progress.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and its application to SEND learners
