SEND Teacher Specialist

**Job Title:** SEN Teacher
**Location:** Chesterfield, England
**Salary Range:** £25,000 - £40,000 per annum
About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team as a SEN Teacher at a mainstream primary school in Chesterfield. This role offers the chance to work with a small group of children with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of each child, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to support children with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and the ability to adapt it to meet the needs of learners with SEND
