Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leadership Development Facilitator to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating leadership and management training programmes that meet the needs of our staff and stakeholders.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult education and training, with experience in planning, designing, and delivering training programmes. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across the organisation to understand the leadership development needs of staff and stakeholders, and design and deliver programmes to create a learning culture within the Trust.

You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring managers and staff, and adapting training to meet the additional learning needs of the audience. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure and establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders.

Person Specification
  • Degree-level qualification or relevant experience in adult education/training or a related field
  • Experience in all aspects of the learning cycle: planning, design, delivery
  • Coaching/mentoring qualification or experience
  • Management qualification/experience of managing others
