Global Payments, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Account Associate to support the financial management of TSYS's activities in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial data to internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Balance Sheet management, including preparation and verification of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare accruals and prepayment journal entries as part of month-end close.
  • General ledger journal preparation and entry into Oracle Fusion.
  • Month-end variance analysis for smaller legal entities.
  • Assist with accounting for corporate card spend transactions.
  • Collate and analyze data to identify intercompany billing.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Support preparation of VAT returns for international entities.
  • Support annual Statutory Audits.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of VAT.
  • Educated to at least 'O' level/GCSE standard in Maths and English Language or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel.
  • Flexibility of working hours and willingness to travel to different sites if needed.
  • Proven ability to give attention to detail.
