Role Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the marketing suite, ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek out prospective sales opportunities and follow up with customers to optimize business outcomes.
  • Manage and implement new innovations to drive sales growth across all sites.
  • Negotiate with customers to ensure the best sales outcomes for the business.
  • Utilize technology to generate sales in diverse environmental and economic conditions.
  • Ensure effective management of sales visits, arranging meetings at suitable times and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively manage the sales process, adhering to the Sales Induction Training and Development Procedure Guide.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve business targets and drive sales growth.
  • Evaluate sales processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increase profitability.
  • Sell customer extras to drive additional revenue for the company.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs / GCE, including Mathematics and English (at C grade or above).
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, delivering under pressure.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong sales and communication skills.
