Human Resources Compensation and Benefits Expert

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Specialist to join our Compensation and Benefits Department. As a Lidl HR and Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing key areas of Lidl's remuneration policies, processes, and practices.
Key Tasks
- Data collection, analysis, and salary benchmarking to sustain a competitive compensation offering.
- Leading compensation projects and working closely with the Benefits team to ensure a competitive total reward package.
- Managing the rollout of Compensation projects and concepts across our 14 Regional distribution centres and Head Office.
- Developing business cases and proposals and presenting with impact.
- Preparation and communication of Compensation relevant information including internal and external environmental analyses via the (online) communication channels.
- Involvement in the salary exception and role reclassification processes.
- Independent processing of tasks and projects in cooperation with the wider team.
- Organisation of Compensation information events for different target groups across the business.
- Answering ad hoc questions on Compensation and any related topics.
- Creation and updating of Compensation information documents and policy.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within HR with a track record in problem solving is desirable for this role.
- Ability to analyse large sets of data and identify key themes, anomalies, and trends, and translate into summaries and proposals.
- Driven to make an impact – leveraging data to drive proposals and challenge practices, to identify and drive high-impact solutions.
- Project Management experience – able to evaluate information and formulate into a project plan, involving and keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
- Excellent communication skills – able to articulate and advise on complex queries to a variety of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
