AMPYR Solar Europe is a leading renewable energy company operating across the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany. We are seeking an Investment Portfolio Assistant to join our core team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting report and presentation preparation for the investment committee, focusing on quarterly valuation reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine financial models using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Support report and presentation preparation for the investment committee, focusing on quarterly valuation reports.
  • Analyse and improve portfolio review processes, collaborating with the Asset Management team.
  • Create capital budgeting frameworks and assist with periodic forecasts, ensuring accurate financial projections.
  • Assist with shareholder inquiries and meeting preparations, providing excellent communication skills.
  • Produce reports and presentations, leveraging market research and analysis for investment strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis for investment strategies, staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or a recent graduate with a strong academic record.
  • Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, including VBA/Python programming languages.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, adapting to changing market conditions.
  • Understanding of financial analysis metrics, including yield, IRR, and NPV.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Team player with enthusiasm for contributing to team goals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Fluent in English with excellent writing skills, producing clear and concise reports.
  • Proficiency in another European language (German or Dutch) is preferred but not mandatory.
