We are seeking an Investment Portfolio Strategist to join our team at JCW in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering investment counseling services, preparing asset allocation balance sheets, and providing support in delivering advice and responding to client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the team in executing investment strategies
  • Assist in the preparation of financial models and investment research
  • Provide expert analysis on investment topics and assess product suitability
  • Prepare materials for client communications (memos, reports, newsletters)
  • Document and maintain records of investment counseling meetings
  • Assist with implementing portfolio recommendations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or master's degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field from a leading university
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment consulting or wealth management
  • Excellent quantitative skills - demonstrable experience in cash flow modelling and equity analysis
  • Experience in Excel is required - Python and programming/coding experience would be a plus
  • RDR Level 4 certification (or willingness to complete within 18 months)
  • Strong knowledge of investments, asset allocation, portfolio construction and a passion for financial planning would be desirable
  • Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or CFP designation is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
  • High integrity and maturity, with a focus on confidentiality

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
