Key Responsibilities:

As a Portfolio Manager's Assistant - Multi Asset, you will provide direct support to the Multi Asset Teams in the Investment Support EMEA/APAC function. Your role will include:

  1. Direct support for the investment teams, conducting day-to-day management of portfolios.
  2. Portfolio monitoring daily, including cash and suggesting trades where applicable.
  3. Monitoring potential capital calls for illiquid asset categories.
  4. Raising orders in the Order Management System.
  5. Collaborating closely with Investment Operations/Business Risk and Service on queries and data issues.
  6. Interaction with other investment teams, such as collating and providing data and responding to queries.
  7. Supporting portfolios in transition through enhanced monitoring.
  8. Providing daily and ad-hoc reporting to the investment team to assist with decision-making processes.
  9. Monitoring assets approaching maturity and advising Fund Managers.
  10. Monitoring portfolio hedging requirements.
  11. Timely and effective query resolution for Fund Managers.
  12. Ad-hoc project management.
  13. Provision of data for client presentations, RFPs, and ad-hoc requests.
  14. Loading look-through data for pooled funds on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. Proven experience supporting front office teams in a similar support role.
  2. Knowledge of multi-asset portfolios and/or a range of assets, including Fixed Income, Equity, Fund of Funds, and Derivatives.
  3. Aladdin user preferable.
  4. Understanding of asset allocation processes.
  5. Advanced Excel, VBA, and/or coding skills preferable/Power BI.
  6. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry qualifications, such as the IMC or CFA, would be an advantage.
