About the RoleThis is a Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant role in our Finance team in Woking, working on a fixed-term contract that will conclude on 30th May 2025. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier invoices for Clear Channel UK Ltd, and efficiently managing supplier accounts and queries.
Key Responsibilities- Support the wider team with invoice processing and preparing for payment for CCUK supplier accounts, ensuring the process runs effectively for payments to be made on time.
- Be the first point of contact for supplier and colleague payment enquiries, demonstrating a confident and professional approach, able to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
- Process invoices against receipted Purchase Orders.
- Register non-PO invoices and obtain approval.
- Regularly reconcile key supplier statements.
- Ensure incoming emails are actioned daily and manage own workload.
- Actively review and investigate any unpaid items.
- Follow-up on aged items/queries to ensure prompt resolution.
- Utilise available reports and data to promptly process pending invoices.
- Daily use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system for transactional postings and supplier account management.
- Ad-hoc duties supporting the team's workload whilst they are testing the new system and during the live rollout.
- Someone to support the team whilst we transition to an AP Automation system.
- Preferably transactional finance experience.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- An understanding of how and when to account for VAT.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail and great organisational skills.
- Experience of dealing with enquiries from external suppliers.
- Confident and professional communication skills.
- Excellent team player, happy to help when required.
- Salary of £15,700 for 3 days (£26,157 FTE).
