Join Our Team as a Consultant Psychiatrist

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to women across different levels of security.

About the Role

You will work as a Responsible Clinician for 18 inpatients across level 2 rehab and acute wards. A CCT in General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry or equivalent qualification and experience working with and leading multidisciplinary teams is required.

We provide trauma-informed and compassion-focused care, utilising positive behavioural support to empower service users in their recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective care plans for individual service users
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness
Requirements and Salary

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice
  • MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical patient care
  • Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved clinician status
  • Experience in General Adult settings and working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings, and risk assessment/risk management

A competitive annual salary of £**£110,000** per annum is offered, along with a car allowance of £8,400 and a range of benefits.
