Customer Service Coordinator

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective customer service via email, telephone, and other communication channels
  • Process orders and sample requests efficiently and accurately
  • Liaise with the commercial department to resolve out-of-stock items and special requests
  • Communicate delays and issues to customers and keep them informed
  • Collaborate with the accounts department and sales managers to resolve discrepancies and credit issues
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork
  • Investigate credits and returns, and take necessary actions
  • Report quality failures and follow up with warehouse and external carriers
  • Stay up-to-date with country profiles and export documentation
  • Dispatch sampling materials as instructed by sales managers
  • Provide sales information to sales managers as requested
  • Develop a good understanding of export markets and work closely with the team to achieve this
Requirements:
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in exporting products to overseas markets, including shipping and export documentation
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in export customer service
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Organized and proactive with a team player attitude
