Pharmacy Dispensary Operations Manager

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Dispensary Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining accuracy and operational efficiency in our dispensary. With a focus on delivering top-tier performance, you will ensure patients receive their medication on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the dispensary team, working closely with the Dispensary Team Lead to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures for all dispensary roles, in coordination with the Clinical Leads.
- Monitor and achieve operational KPIs such as On Time in Full (OTIF) service levels, Cost to Fill efficiency, patient safety, inventory loss, and margin performance.
- Conduct probationary and performance reviews in line with company guidelines.
- Ensure training for new dispensary team members is carried out in line with individual training plans.
- Lead by example, actively working alongside the team on the dispensary floor to maintain high output levels and resolve problems effectively.
- Proven experience in managing and developing operational teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- NVQ2 Pharmacy qualification (NVQ3 level Pharmacy Technician preferred).
