Accounting and Administrative Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  1. Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Code and enter invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner.
  3. Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
  4. Prepare and process weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc payments.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role, with proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders are essential.

Salary:

£26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
