Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join our client's team in Leicester. As a key member of the sales ledger, you will be responsible for reconciling and allocating payments, ensuring there is no aged debt over 18 months.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a busy sales ledger environment and excellent communication skills. They should also be highly computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reconcile and allocate payments as per KPIs
  2. Liaise with customers to resolve outstanding queries
  3. Ensure debit notes are issued on all outstanding queries within 3 months
  4. Monitor and manage aged debt
  5. Process customer emails efficiently
  6. Work towards minimizing unpaid invoices without reason

Requirements:

  • GCSE A to C (including Maths and English) or equivalent
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to study for professional qualifications
  • Pleasant and confident personality
  • Ability to handle high volumes of customer queries
  • Previous experience in credit control is essential

Benefits:

  3. Holidays: 20 days + Extra 2 days after 2 years service + 8 statutory days
