About the Role

We are currently recruiting for temporary part and full-time support workers to work in elderly residential care homes. As a Care Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our elderly service users, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility
  • Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in care planning and risk assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive environment
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual service user needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in the care sector, particularly with elderly service users
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and adaptable individual
