About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our care team at a newly established, state-of-the-art care home in Staffordshire. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional person-centred care to individuals with diverse healthcare needs, requiring strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to thrive in a luxury care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly provide care and support to individuals with health and social care needs
  • Lead and supervise a team of healthcare assistants
  • Assist in implementing care plans and risk assessments
  • Monitor and communicate any changes in individuals' conditions to the healthcare team
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
  • Support individuals in their daily activities, fostering independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care delivery

Requirements:

  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Prior experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a luxury care environment

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a healthcare setting
