We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at ABS IT Services, a leading Managed Service Provider. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company that specializes in providing comprehensive technology solutions to its customers.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements for corporate clients, as well as financial modeling for large projects. They will also be involved in various accounting tasks, including bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow planning and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements for corporate clients
- Develop and maintain financial models for large projects
- Perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and process payroll
- Assist with cash flow planning and forecasting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Degree qualification or equivalent in Accounting and Finance
- AAT qualified or industry-recognized certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UK
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
