Financial Services Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to our customers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our UK Shared Services Team, assisting in the delivery of financial services and developing your skills in financial analysis and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit. You will also have full training, professional support, and opportunities for growth.
About the Role
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting, taking ownership and responsibility for the delivery of the Business Finance month end close and reporting.
- Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, provisions, and other necessary entries.
- Attend Project/Cost Centre reviews, providing relevant feedback and challenging numbers.
- Prepare Balance Sheet Packs, AP06 & AP12 Statutory audit packs, and monthly QinetiQ Management Packs.
- Support Cost Centre Managers, project, and program managers alongside Management Accountants.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting or related field, with knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- To have attained or working towards an accountancy level qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or AAT).
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit.
