Join Our Team of Bridge and Senior Bridge Inspectors

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge and Senior Bridge Inspector to join our team of design experts. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most innovative bridge projects, collaborating with our team of engineers to deliver high-quality designs and solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design, check, and assess bridge projects, ensuring compliance with UK design standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients and mentor junior staff to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of technical quality.
  • Produce engineering designs, details, and reports, as well as check and assess work by other engineers.
  • Work closely with our CAD/BIM technicians to prepare 2D and 3D design drawings and models.
  • Deliver high-quality work, ensuring accuracy through self-checking and a conscientious approach.
  • Visit sites as required to ensure project progress and quality.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A master's degree in civil or structural engineering and chartered status with the ICE or IStructE or an equivalent institution.
  • Proven post-graduate experience in a design environment, working on bridges, heavy civil, or complex structures.
  • Experience in motivating, supervising, and coordinating project teams.
  • Familiarity with UK design standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A deep understanding and enthusiasm for structural engineering, with a personal commitment to technical excellence.
