Are you a seasoned bridge design professional looking to take on a leadership role? Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Principal Bridge Engineer to join our client's team in the UK.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading technical design and assessments, supporting project delivery, and mentoring junior engineers. Your role will involve working on high-profile civil structures, ensuring quality, and promoting innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Technical Director to deliver projects and maintain strong client relationships.
  2. Lead and mentor teams on design and assessments, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  3. Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
  4. Develop and deliver high-quality technical designs and reports.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  2. Be a Chartered or nearly Chartered Engineer (MICE/MIStructE) with at least four years' experience in the UK.
  3. Have knowledge of DMRB, MCDHW, and Network Rail procedures.
  4. Be proficient in structural design software and various materials.
