Education Support Professional

The school is a large SEN institution located between Failsworth and Oldham, easily accessible by public transport. The school has a strong commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.
In this role, you will be working closely with children aged 11-16 years old with varying needs, including complex needs, non-verbal communication, and moderate learning difficulties. You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students, and working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide additional support when needed.
Job Requirements- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (preferable)
- LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferable)
- GCSE Maths and English, and basic computer skills
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
