Education Support Professional

Prospero Teaching Careers is seeking an experienced Education Support Professional to join our team at a specialist High school in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The school serves children aged 11-16 years old with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The students benefit from a personalized curriculum designed to meet their unique requirements, and the school prides itself on its innovative approach to education.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers to deliver PE and outdoor activities, Horticulture, and class trips.
- Develop and implement session plans for small groups or provide tailored support as required.
- Establish a secure and motivating environment that promotes enjoyment, learning, and achievement.
- Offer targeted academic support on an individual or group basis.
- Provide administrative assistance to teachers as needed.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with students with SEN.
- Previous experience supporting individuals with additional needs is highly valued.
- A Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not compulsory.
This role requires working with students who may display challenging behaviors resulting from trauma.
The school prioritizes student and staff well-being, fostering a supportive community.
Remuneration:£28,250 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience.
