Job Title: Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team at Allianz Insurance Plc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our governance, risk management, and compliance function activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


Key Responsibilities
Risk Management
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and maintain a risk register to track risk mitigation activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement risk management initiatives that align with business objectives.

Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external regulations, including corporate rules and standards, industry-specific requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate compliance reviews and audits.

Controls
  • Perform control testing activities to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Document control testing procedures, results, and findings to ensure transparency and accountability.

Governance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to information security, information technology, and risk management.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on governance, risk, and compliance matters to ensure a culture of compliance.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements to ensure accountability.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure an integrated approach to risk management, control management, and compliance.
  • Communicate risk and compliance issues to senior management and relevant stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Provide regular reports on the status of risk management and compliance efforts to ensure transparency and accountability.

Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organisation remains compliant and competitive.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to GRC processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in GRC tools and software to ensure efficient and effective risk management.
