We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government Liaison Officer to join our team at the Better Planning Coalition. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of local government policies, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Better Planning Coalition Job Role

Location: Office based in London (hybrid) or home based
Estimated Salary:£38,000 - £41,000 depending on experience and location
Contract: Fixed term contract to December 2025

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level support to senior management, developing and implementing effective planning strategies, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions to complex planning challenges. You will work closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, and will be expected to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

  • Developing and implementing effective planning strategies and policies
  • Providing high-level support to senior management
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including politicians, officials, and community groups
