This role offers a great deal of scope for professional development and is based at our headquarters in Westminster, where most formal meetings take place on a hybrid basis.

As a Key Account Liaison Professional, you will be responsible for supporting some of the LGA's highest profile meetings and working with senior officers and elected representatives to achieve their goals.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent organisational skills and a track record of managing formal meetings in a local authority or similar organisation.

You will also need to have excellent written skills and be able to give clear and succinct advice, as well as enjoy working in a complex, political and high-profile organisation and be able to meet often demanding deadlines in a pressurised environment.

Additionally, you must manage the interface between senior officers and elected representatives with tact and diplomacy and have a firm grasp of the use and application of IT systems, ideally including committee management software modern.gov.

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
