Role Overview

Become a key member of our team at Brook Street, an Outstanding School in Somerset, as a Teaching Assistant or Senior Learning Support Assistant.

You will play a vital role in supporting students aged 5-18 with EHCPs, ensuring they receive the best possible education. Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing activities, supporting lessons, and facilitating access to education.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the needs of individual students.
  2. Collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons and provide additional support as required.
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular review meetings.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patient and compassionate approach.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
