Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide medical records support for the West Mental Health Service.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be efficient and organised with their workload.
Main Duties
The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for providing an essential support service in the continuing care of patients, ensuring that case notes are at the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support for the Medical Records Supervisor
• Assist with the delivery of the BCU Health Records Operational Plan
• Cross-cover all aspects of the role, including pulling, filing, pruning, destruction, preparation, amalgamation, and secure transportation / delivery of case notes
• Provide a professional and efficient reception service as required
