About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Grange and Lodge. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological care of patients, working closely with the Qualified Psychologist to contribute to assessments, scoring, and reporting, as well as clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to assessments, scoring, and reporting (verbal/written)
  • Support the Qualified Psychologist with clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate individual/group programmes
  • Assist with administration, audit, research, and service development

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
  • BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
  • Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
  • Experience in healthcare and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role (preferable)
  • Passionate about neurorehabilitation, learning, and working as part of a team
