Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our Commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategically managing accounts to drive annual turnover, volume, and profit growth targets.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement detailed customer business plans to achieve account full year sales and volume budgets.
- Develop and execute business plans to match our proposition with customer needs, identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Manage all aspects of account management, including product launches, promotional activities, and sales forecasting.
- Monitor and improve customer profitability, ensuring tight account management and administrative procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, raising awareness of our organization and brand portfolio.
- Proactively identify problems and implement solutions, maintaining a long-term view to account management.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive them through the business, working closely with the General Sales Manager as required.
- Extensive account management experience, preferably in the food or drink industry.
- Commercial experience of retail/CFI customers would be an advantage.
- Graduate calibre with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- High level of numeracy and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
