Job Title: Manager, Financial Accounting

CSL Seqirus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Financial Accounting to join our Global Shared Service Centre in Liverpool. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for leading the Financial Accounting team to deliver accurate and timely execution of Financial Accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Financial Accountants to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis
  • Oversee the day-to-day work of Financial Accountants, including managing work assignments, reviewing quality, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of actuals at month-end close for entities under remit
  • Lead the process for timely and accurate local statutory reporting for entities and ensure a smooth and efficient audit process
  • Manage team performance against KPIs and SLAs defined as part of the service management framework
  • Lead, motivate, and develop employees within the team, including long-term talent development and succession planning
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree in related field desirable
  • Professional certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required
  • Proven relevant experience in a multi-national company
  • Proven supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and AIFRS
