About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Practitioner to join our team in the Bellahouston area of Glasgow. As a key member of our night support team, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular "keeping safe checks" to ensure the individuals we support are safe and comfortable.
  • Supporting with morning and night routines, including personal care, feeding, meal preparation, and medication assistance.
  • Keeping accurate written records, using IT systems as required, including updating support plans, incident logs, and health and safety records.
  • Creating a calm and therapeutic environment for the people we support.

Shift patterns will be 0930pm - 0730am, with a rolling rota to ensure a good work-life balance. Full training and induction are provided before starting, along with work shadowing.

We are looking for individuals who are empathetic and proactive in supporting people to lead active lives. You will have a good understanding of the need to support people to stay healthy and safe, while being comfortable with managing risk accordingly.
