About the Role
Bournemouth Christchurch & Poole Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children In Care Team. This challenging and rewarding position offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and a supportive team culture.

As a Social Worker in this role, you will be responsible for undertaking timely assessments and analysis of need and risk, working with families and networks of professionals to create and deliver outcome-focused plans. You will also ensure that children and young people and carers are aware of their rights and are enabled to participate meaningfully in planning, and in decision-making, including through the use of independent advocates if required.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work, 1 year of experience within the UK, and be eligible to work in the country. They will also possess enhanced DBS/CRB clearance and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

With a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, this position offers a range of benefits, including free onsite parking, opportunities for role progression and training, and a competitive pay rate that exceeds most surrounding areas.
