We are seeking a skilled Accounting and Transaction Officer to join our team on a six-month contract. As a Financial Transactions Officer, you will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:
  • Process and pay invoices in a timely manner using the accounts payable system.
  • Coordinate weekly payment runs and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate financial records, including credit and debit balances.
  • Assist with insurance claims and annual renewals.
  • Update our system with direct debit payments and council housing benefit payments.
Essential Skills:
  • Purchase ledger experience.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Familiarity with finance systems like Open Accounts and Active H is advantageous.
  • Sales ledger accounting experience is not necessary.
