Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of individuals using the Enablement service, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapy and Case Management colleagues to ensure assessments are holistic and all opportunities are maximised.
- Provide practice monitoring, supervision, and training to a team of Enablement Support Workers in the community.
- Monitor the quality of service provided and ensure that staff work in a healthy and safe environment.
- An empathetic and caring approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with a diverse range of people and challenging situations.
- Skills to empower individuals to support them to reach their personal goals and maximise their independence.
- Ability to travel across the required geographical area and be flexible and adaptable to the fast-changing business needs.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Enhancements for evening and weekend working & Bank Holidays.
- Uniform, Phone, and PPE all provided.
- Contracted Guaranteed Hours.
- Travel time paid & Mileage paid at 45p per mile.
- Extensive Induction and ongoing training including Care Certificate and Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Regular 1-1 Supervision/support.
- Development opportunities through succession planning to move into other roles (whole of KCC).

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day (during shift hours) is essential. You should note that public transport is rarely a viable option as some rural areas of Kent often have limited public transport.
